Maya Pedal operates in Guatemala fixing old bikes and making bicimáquinas – bike machines, or bikes with utilitarian purpose. For example, a bike that can grind corn or pump water. This allows the communities in San Andrés Itzapa to have an efficient way to do specialised work without relying on things like diesel engines.
